Description
I usually wrap up a shoot when the sun is high in the sky, as shooting with a high sun is not ideal for waves as it takes away all the detail you can capture with a low sun. This day, as I was leaving I saw some interesting swells push against the sea wall. I grabbed my goggles and tried to take some underwater shots but because my wet suit was quite buoyant, I was floating around just trying to get lower while being bashed around by waves… honestly I probably looked like a drowning seal. In my struggle to combat the waves, plus my lack of sinking, I managed to grab this shot amongst loads of misfires.
